Garrett Fennell is experienced public affairs professional with excellent knowledge and practical working experience of public administration, policy development and regulation in Ireland and the EU. A solicitor by profession, he formerly worked with McCann FitzGerald in Dublin and Brussels and was a public affairs consultant within the ESB. Garrett has nearly 20 years experience of advising clients on regulatory, public policy and related communications matters.
He is also a founding director of Public Affairs Ireland. Garrett has also served as a member of the Local Government Efficiency Implementation Group, the Government High Level Group on Business Regulation and was a member of the National Oversight and Audit Commission. He lectures widely on issues relating to public policy development, legislative drafting, corporate governance, procurement and the political structures and processes in Ireland.
